What you should know about Toxins

Toxins such as pesticides, industrial contaminants and VOCs are undetectable and are commonly found in well water.

Toxins can enter your well water from many sources, including industrial contamination, improperly disposed waste, septic tank leachate, and fertilizers or other farming chemicals. In a recent study, VOCs were found in 90 of 98 tested aquifers that supply well water to homeowners across the country.*  Some toxins, such as arsenic and fluoride, are naturally occurring and can be present in high amounts in well water.  Many of these well water toxins are even more dangerous when absorbed through the skin or inhaled from moisture-laden air, than they are in your drinking water.**
