EasyWater treated minerals look disc-shaped rather than tree branch shaped like Photo 1. EasyWater sends electronic frequencies through the wall of the pipe and into the water. As a result the minerals lose their electrostatic charge, and do not stick to piping, water heaters, and other water using equipment. In addition, when this conditioned water comes in contact with existing mineral deposits in your home, they are dissolved and removed over time. Unlike traditional water softening, the EasyWater System does not remove the beneficial calcium and magnesium minerals from your water and does not add any sodium.
All traditional salt type water softeners utilize a process called “ion exchange,” which is a chemical change to water. A salt type water softener removes the cation minerals in the water, which are mainly calcium and magnesium, and replaces them with 2 sodium ions. It is a 2 for 1 exchange that follows basic chemistry properties. If you have hard water then you can imagine how much sodium you would have in your water by adding 2 sodium ions for every calcium or magnesium cation.
