i AM CURRENTLY USING AN IORB FILTERING TANK,,A CHLORINE INJECTION SYSTEM,,A WATER SOFTNER,, FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER CARBON CARTDRIGE FILTER BEFORE THE WATER ENTERS MY HOME AND I’M STILL NOT SURE OF THE WATER IN MY HOME !
i DRINK ONLY DISTILLED WATER,,A BIT PRICEY ,, BUT IT GIVES ME SELF CONFIDENCE.
..Darn tootin’ , a water supply is of concern, I don’t want to rely on city water,, I intend for a ‘back-up’ well of my own… northern Texas is pleading to get more water out of so.east Oklahoma,, all well & good, but they need to ‘drill-baby-drill’ and build some man made lakes to capture some of the rainfall they get… Could We get help from E-Water.? Can’t find anybody….
Our Government is causing the shortage.
I think the problem is we do not use enough water. The more water we use the more it will rain. The natural process will clean the water. We have an entire ocean to pull water from take the salt out there is no reason for anyone not to have clean water or as much water as they want to use. The more water we use on the land, lakes, streams, rivers, the more it will rain, the more it will clean the air. We have a natural filter process, the earth… Let it work.
While most municipal water needs some filtering, and treatment to protect plumbing, we can become paranoid in our efforts to ensure only thouroughly cleansed water enters our food supply. The human body can tolerate wide margins of natural and unnatural elements. But we should be more concerned about protecting our natural resources, and developing new methods of supply and conservation to ensure our following generations have adequate resources too. Government is not causing the shortage, wastefulness and failure to protect what nature has already provided are human impediments to supply by over-demand and waste. Climate changes force us to change habbits, we should anticipate and plan for these changes.
